CSC: Housing Programs: Weatherization

Weatherization

For more than 20 years, the Community Services Consortium of Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties has been administering the Weatherization Program and helping low-income residents increase energy savings and home comfort level overall by reducing wintertime heating costs.

There is no charge to the recipient household for the labor or materials. Though every home is unique in its weatherization needs, the following general services/measures have typically been a function of our weatherization services:

Heating system safety checks

Diagnostic combustion tests

Insulation in attics and walls

Duct sealing and/or repair

Our client households are served according to Federal Priority Groups (senior citizens and handicapped/disabled first) and available funding resources, though priorities change from time to time as funding and program requirements evolve.

What are the Eligibility Requirements?
