One Stop

The One Stop Workforce Development System in Linn, Benton and Lincoln Counties Counties is a cooperative effort between many state and local agencies, businesses and organizations. The One Stop Career Centers bring employment, training and other services to Oregonians in a convenient and accessible manner.

One Stop is a national initiative to connect employment, education and training services into a coherent network of resources at the local, state and national level. This new system links the nation's employers to a variety of qualified applicants and provides job-seekers with access to employment and training opportunities next door and across the country.

Services – One Stop Resource Centers are located in each county to offer employment services FREE to ALL Linn, Benton, and Lincoln County residents.

For Businesses – Our professional staff will meet with you personally to:

Learn about your company.

For the Job Seeker – Our objective is to assist you in your efforts to secure employment and enhance your job skills by providing the following services:

¨ Access and referral to our job opportunity listings

¨ Internet access to job search and Labor Market information sites

¨ Career assessment classes

¨ Resource room with a reference library, local and regional newspapers, computers,

fax, phone and copy machine.

¨ Regularly scheduled resume workshops

¨ Basic computer classes to update your skills

¨ On-going support for self-directed participants.

¨ One on one interviews with participants to assist in identifying and eliminating issues

that may be barriers to getting and keeping a job.

¨ Job retention skills.

¨ Career advancement.

¨ Community referrals to assist you in finding out who does what in our community.
