Emergency shelter needed in Lincoln County · There is a need for a place for people to stay during their emergency and short term homelessness · Who is able to fund and develop it? Church or business sponsoring the development through monthly donations… · Who is able to continually run and staff it?
Individual Interviews to gather more data · More input is needed from a variety of community businesses and agencies (especially those who cannot attend the monthly meetings) · We are not able to capture all the information during meetings · Each stakeholder should be assigned another person/agency or group to interview (by the Dec. 14th meeting?) · A set of questions will be developed by Tom Hatley and sent to group. · Joanne will approach Chamber of Commerce · No meeting during January so that people will make appointments and interview people · Present information back to Steering Committee, who will incorporate it into the 10-year plan.
