| Job Search AssistanceJob search assistance includes access to local, regional, and national job listings; state and federal openings; and information about employment trends, the local labor market, interviewing techniques, and community resources. Job search assistance services are offered to anyone who needs help with the process of looking for work or who needs training in how to look for a job. This
service may be provided at any of our one-stops.
If registered with WIA, you will also be eligible for one-on-one
assistance with an Employment Specialist who can respond to your questions. Throughout the process personal assistance and programs are available to help discover career direction, find job openings both listed and unlisted, and help choose the best position to meet your needs. Eligibility Requirements: Anyone is able to receive job search assistance through a local one stop center. Should there be an interest to register with an employment and training program which offers more aggressive and individualized service such as CSC’s Workforce Investment Act program, there is an orientation to find out more details regarding the program.
