The Emergency Services Department helps off-set winter heating bills for over 15,200 households through Low Income Energy Assistance, State Energy Assistance, and private fuel funds donated by Pacific Power, NW Natural Gas, Central Lincoln PUD and local utility customers.

38% of those served are seniors and/or disabled on fixed income

47% of the households have a shut off notice or are about to receive one

"I get by just fine on $795 in Social Security and $95 in food stamps every month as long as I have help from energy assistance. When you’re on a fixed income, every little bit helps."
