Ingredients

Water                                                              4 cups
Low-fat, low-sodium chicken broth                 3 cups
Chopped tomatoes                                          2 cups
Stalked celery, chopped                                   ½ each
Green onion, chopped with tops                     4 each
Potato, peeled and diced                                1 each
Bay leaf                                                           1 each
Salt                                                                  1 tsp
Thyme                                                               ½ tsp
Caraway seeds                                                  ¼ tsp
Shredded cabbage                                           3 cups
Chopped cooked chicken                                 1 cup
Lemon juice                                                      1 Tbsp
Sugar                                                                 2 tsp




Preparation Instructions


In a large soup pot, combine the water, broth, tomatoes, celery, onion,    potato, bay leaf, salt, thyme, and caraway seeds.
 2. Simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.  Add cabbage, chicken, lemon juice, and         	sugar.  Remove the bay leaf and serve
